Typically, these are the most common spreads people feature in their monthly layout: Cover Page- This is the page that introduces a new month. I decided to go out of the box and create a monthly calendar spread where I doodled an important thing that happened on each day. I don’t feel overwhelmed and I am less likely to forget things! It also checks my creative box… Bullet Journal monthly spread ideas are hard to come by. My weekly layouts are very simple…I don’t pay too much attention to how pretty they look – they are functional lists that I simply need to work through! This weekly ritual plays a huge part in making my life simple…my mind is less cluttered with the things it needs to work through and it gives me small goals to check off every day. However, they are super fun to create And help give your spread a bit of life. Do I Need A Theme For My Bujo Spread The short answer is: no, you don’t need a theme for a bullet journal spread. The main use of a monthly log (as you may have guessed) is to help organise your month. Monthly themes are the most common, where you make sure all your spreads within that month follow a consistent style. I love drawing out my monthly title page! Monthly Logs (also referred to as Monthlies) are one of the staple spreads in bullet journaling.
